Dad told me that Gran is quietly preparing to leave my room, now that Elanor's physical therapy is in its final stages. Gran's putting her belongings into boxes, but not giving any indication of where she'll go after my college semester is over and I move back in.

She's successfully applied for a reentry into civilization, so returning to the Wild is out of the cards. Besides, she's now trying to convert Coney to strict herbivorism. It's a losing battle but, hey, everyone needs a hobby.

So where will she live? Danielle had a room beneath the Hare-Link office, but that space is presently filled with the ISP's hardware. I know she won't be moving in with Elanor!

Fenton just read this and asked what was Gran's natural habitat. I replied, Other People's Business.

LOL Once a busybody always a snoop. It looks like that Gran has not only emerged in to civilised society, but with mission to reform it.

I got two-to-one she moves in with Abby. Although 'Tree' is no doubt lonely and might enjoy the maturinty of an older woman.

Depends I suppose on whether the 'Yippee!' and 'Horray!' is because she's pregnant or she's not.

Me...since Danielle's in a "family way" Dotty will try making George & Danielle raise them her way.

Actually this might be interesting since Foxes have small litters too. Long ears for both species....

Oh, blimey. Dorothy already has a carnivore for a daughter-in-law and resents it. If she finds out her daughter is another one, she'll be even more miserable to deal with! (and yes I know Danielle's "not really her daughter" and I'm sick to death of the argument about it so don't bother me)

Between Coney and Danielle's child, sounds like there could be a growing market for special-needs daycare. Any vacant spaces in the neighborhood big enough for a daycare center?

Where I come from, there are laws stating that children or the extended family must take care of the elders. Basically, once someone is past a certain age, he or she should be provided for by someone. It's called the law of Filial Piety.

It's also part of my Chinese heritage, of course. I remember that my Maternal Grandmother and Grandfather stayed with us until the day they died. They also helped to look after me and my sister when we were young. It was nice.
