Anytime two people begin living together there's an adjustment period, and Rachel and I are no exception. After five days of dorm life she's charging at fewer and fewer unfamiliar things, including the other residents of the hall. (I must say, the prey species had an easier time avoiding her rampages since they're used to being chased.) I noticed that Rachel brought a supply of greeting cards to hand out that begin, "My apologies..."
Classes are starting, including my work in Professor Anterhead's lab. I'm still doing stem cell research apart from the rest of the team, since I'm mandated against using federal funds. Hopefully that absurd restriction will end after the current Administration leaves office no matter which party's candidate wins in 2008.
Fenton and I had dinner with Rhonda and Quinn on Friday, and Quinn and I demonstrated to our significant others the proper way to make kebobs with our quills. (When the quills are still attached to us, it's a quite romantic meal.)
