...AND THAT MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE

Well, that was an interesting debate. Somewhat off the topic from the typical school board issues...

Dr. Caduceus's revelation about the snake was confirmed when his former buddy Carl Crotalus was found living on the other side of the country. Mr. Crotalus remembers little of the incident owing to the head injury and the passage of time, but medical records do show he was treated for a concussion on that date. So, everything checks out.

And now we enter the realm of speculation. If not for that incident, would Dad and Ms. Caudal have married upon their maturity? Dad would've never married the sterile Angelique, never adopted me, never gone online to meet Kell... Wow. A little school board election was probably the least significant outcome of that day so long ago.

Dad probably would've led a convention rabbit life. I wonder if he harbors any regrets over the path not taken. One thing's for sure, this path hasn't been dull...

You know, with all the talk you've done about alternate realities and the human world, do you think it's possible there'd be a world where your dad DID marry Ms. Caudel?
How would the Y2k crisis been handled if not for Kevin and Kell tag teaming the coding? What would've happened if in regards to the problems of humans being in your world, in mass?
Would there be a Crisis of Infinite Domains?

regrets over the past are a thing of the past. he loves you and the rest of the family and will never abandoned you. he may be as strong as iron but he has a heart as precious as gold. don't worry about what could have been just enjoy what is. you have a loving family and some what eccentric boyfriend and a best friend/ room mate that is really patient and understanding of others

Well, what else?

Kell would still have lost her husband, and would find no Kevin to help rebuild her life... Rudy could have become a misfit, and never met Fiona... the millennium bug would have caused global chaos... what else?

Well...

Lindesfarne would probably be sharing the British throne with her twin sister. (And would probably be miserable because she'd have to attend shopping mall openings rather than be doing genetic research. Quite a loss to us all...)

Vin Vulpin would probably be a Vice President at either Herdthinners or Microtalon -- or (and here's an even more frightening thought) Vice President of the country. (Or, considering his "enhancements", he'd be a baseball player or a pro wrestler...)

Bruno would be miserable as a closet herbivore; and Corrie would, presumably, have ended up as someone else's dinner.

Candace would, presumably, still be "pushing tin" as an Air Traffic Controller.

Fenton would, like any true geek, probably still be living with his parents.

Angelique would still be a rabbit, still twice-divorced and still stuck with all those little stin...uh...skunks.

Aren't you glad things have turned out the way they have?
