As much as I enjoy college life at Beige University, it's also nice helping out this summer at
Hare-Link. I do a lot of theoretical work in my studies and for Professor Antlerhead's research team, but the things I do for Dad have real world impact.
In the news this week the Mayor talked about reviving the citywide wi-fi network, which we installed but was canceled due to the influence of telecoms fearing that it would cut into their business. This time there would be usage fees so the wi-fi wouldn't be free, but at least it would be operational.
Meanwhile, Rudy is continuing his driving lessons under Dad's extremely patient tutelage. When Dad taught
me to drive it was different; I'm not as aggressive a species as Rudy is, so I was much more cautious. (The downside is that I used to wait ten minutes before making a turn. I've gotten better about that.)
I do remember, though, wishing the car would fly...
