I'm back in my room in the family treehouse, as we busy ourselves with holiday activities and decorations. As usual, Kell has to keep Rudy from stealing the cookies she's baked, and she has to make sure Dad isn't secretly nibbling on the garlands and wreaths.
Finals went okay. I've got my grades back (all A's), and Fenton had similar results. When he got home, Tree had a fresh, hot cup of cocoa waiting for him, with yummy insects floating in it instead of marshmallows. (She caught the bugs with her sap; she's so resourceful.)
Gran, now living down the street with George, Danielle and baby Francis, still comes over often in her quest to turn Coney to herbivorism. Elanor has taken up the challenge, with the result being that Coney receives lots of grandmotherly attention.
Now that's getting what one wants for Christmas!
